the location suited my needs perfectly, with numerous dining and shopping choices very close. the rooms were well appointed and comfortable, a welcome respite after long days. i also appreciated the free wifi, it worked consistently well for browsing.
during check-in, i experienced some delays and found the staff to be somewhat unhelpful, a little disheartening. the same breakfast order resulted in inconsistent sausage and eggs each day. i found this quite strange.

really good waterfront stay!

I found the location excellent. It was central to the waterfront near many restaurants. the area felt okay all time for walking at any hour. Plus, the excellent on-site restaurant provided both great breakfasts and dinners. i also liked how convenient it was to walk to the ferry for a trip to robben island.
i noticed the gym and pool are a short walk across the road. sharing these facilities amongst several hotels felt a bit less exclusive. i think having them directly within the hotel would add more convenience.

the breakfast fell short. it reminded me of a lower quality hotel. the staff charged extra for a flat white. I have never seen this anywhere else. the staff should reconsider this rule.
